This course is offered year round. Starting November 1, 2018 PALS courses will run from 9am-3pm for two consecutive days.
The goal of the Pediatric Advanced Life Support Course is to provide the learner with information needed to recognize infants and children at risk for cardiopulmonary arrest, offer information and strategies needed to prevent cardiopulmonary arrest in infants and children, and to demonstrate the cognitive and psychomotor skills needed to resuscitate and stabilize infants and children in respiratory failure, shock, or cardiopulmonary arrest. You must have a current (not expired) Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support Card.

Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course material, do not represent income to the Association.
The pediatric advanced life support certification renewal is designed to educate healthcare personnel working with infants and children on the risks, strategies, and skills necessary to handle cardiopulmonary emergencies. Precourse Self-Assessment: Students must complete the precourse self-assessment prior to attending the course. Textbook required.

We reserve the right to cancel class due to insufficient registrations. If you have questions regarding class cancellations due to weather, please check the email you registered with for class for updates.
Should you need to cancel, you must do so at least five business days prior to your scheduled course. No call, no show will be required to pay for a rescheduled course.
