To be successful with your online courses, the following computer skills and basic computer technology are needed:
Knowledge of basic computing terms
Knowledge of web browsers and how to use them
Familiarity with navigating the Internet and researching topics
Proficient with sending and receiving email including attaching, sending, and opening files
Skill with word processing programs, including the use of spellcheck, general formatting, copy and paste, and other common word processing tasks
Basic computer technology to access your online classes, coursework, and the course management system for NMC programs
Students enrolled online should have access to a computer with the following minimum technology requirements:
