United Methodist Church
As the name implies, Nebraska Methodist College has a formal relationship with the university senate of the board of higher education and ministry of the United Methodist Church.
The United Methodist Church also gives Nebraska Methodist College the opportunity for international linkages through church-affiliated colleges and universities all over the world. Students, staff and faculty have traveled to foreign countries to enhance their learning and teaching through interaction with different cultures. At national and international meetings of faculty and administration, dialogues have been engaged in with other institutions on issues facing independent higher education and concurrently how partnerships can be used to enhance the education of students.
While the affiliation with the Methodist Church offers unique opportunities, NMC embraces students of all faiths.
