General Background
Dr. Kindschuh is an adjunct professor in the Doctor of Nursing Practice and Doctor of Education programs. Up until Fall 2024, Dr. Kindschuh servd as the Director of Doctoral Studies at Nebraska Methodist College. She was instrumental in developing the first doctoral program, the Doctoral Nursing Practice program, at Nebraska Methodist College in 2014. Dr. Kindschuh is board-certified Clinical Nurse Specialist in Gerontological Nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and as a Certified Nurse Educator through the National League of Nursing. She is an active member of the Nebraska Nurses Association, Sigma Theta Tau International, and the Public Health Association of Nebraska. Dr. Kindschuh has been recognized for excellence in teaching and scholarship. Most notably she was recognized as an Outstanding Nurse Educator by the Nebraska Nurses Association, the Daisy Award for Nurse Educators, and the STAR Award for Research Excellence by Sigma Tau Tau chapter,
